Priorities

Mableton is growing — and with the right leadership, that growth can reflect our values: safe neighborhoods, thriving local businesses, walkable communities, and a city government that truly listens and invests in its people. These six priorities represent my vision for a more connected, inclusive, and forward-thinking Mableton, where every resident has a voice and a stake in our future. But I need you to guide me in what YOU really want for our city!

Elder Care

Our older residents have built our communities, and they deserve respect, support, and opportunities to stay connected.

  • Expand senior programs at community centers and Mableton events.

  • Promote aging-in-place policies and support services.

  • Create volunteer and mentorship opportunities that value senior experience.

Small businesses are the heart of Mableton. We’ll make sure they have the support they need to grow and succeed.

  • Streamline permits and reduce red tape.

  • Launch a local business spotlight program.

  • Provide resources and training for new entrepreneurs.

Let’s protect and preserve what makes Mableton beautiful.

  • Promote green development and sustainability.

  • Continue to support community clean-ups and beautification projects.

  • Protect local ecosystems from overdevelopment.

Youth Empowerment

Our future depends on our young people. Investment in them should be early and often.

  • Partner with schools for after-school and mentoring programs.

  • Expand youth job training and internship pathways.

Transparent Government

We need leadership that openly provides information and listens to its people.

  • Hold regular town halls and neighborhood forums.

  • Share budgets and decisions with full transparency.

  • Build opportunities for constituents to receive answers to questions asked during pubic comment.
